Edgar Allan Poe

Edgar Allan Poe,who was born on 19th January, 1809, was originally going to write his most famous poem about a parrot instead of a raven. It was only after reading Dickens’ Barnaby Rudge with a raven named Grip that Poe decided to change the bird.
